Our December special guest was talent manager Melanie Thomas from ACM Talent who began her VO representation career on the reception desk at Abrams
Artists Agency Los Angeles in 2007. In a short 2 years, she graduated from assistant to agent when she booked the voice of the Syfy network rebrand and then went on to build the promo and narration department.
Over the next dozen years, the native Angeleno then put clients onto a myriad of wildly diverse commercials, on-air promos, trailers, narration, interactive, and animation projects.
She joined ACM Talent in August of 2019 and within a short amount of time, she has placed voices on TV commercials and campaigns and Super Bowl
commercials. Her clients have gone on to voice networks, narration series, TV commercial campaigns and became leads of multi-million dollar video game franchises.
Melanie joined LA voice pro Tish Hicks and home studio master Dan Lenard to answer questions on representation, what people are looking for within
specific genres, and more.
You can connect with Melanie on LinkedIn.
